This Privacy Statement describes how Pelsu Rescue Plan collects and processes personal and other information about you if you are:

  • a potential customer; or
  • you use our web-based services (user)

6. PERSONAL DATA RECIPIENTS OR RECIPIENT CATEGORIES

Collected data will be available to Pelsu Rescue Plan employees for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

The information will not be disclosed outside the company. However, we use the subcontractors listed here as technical data processors: https://pelsu.fi/list-of-subprocessors/. All subcontractors we use meet the requirements of applicable data protection legislation regarding privacy and the data subject’s rights.

7. TRANSFER OF DATA TO THIRD COUNTRIES

Pelsu Pelastussuunnitelma uses subcontractors for information processing. Some of these parties are located outside the EU in the United States. You can find a list of all of our subcontractors here: https://www.pelsu.fi/list-of-subprocessors/.

We only use known and reliable service providers who are committed to the GDPR and its standard clauses. All of our subcontractors are required to sign our Data Processing Addendum (DPA).

8. DATA RETENTION PERIOD

  • Pelsu Rescue Plan shall process personal data for the duration of the agreement. At the end of the agreement, personal data will be stored passively for 180 days in accordance with section 6.3 of the General Terms of Delivery of Pelsu Rescue Plan, after which the personal data will be permanently deleted.
  • If you have imposed a marketing ban concerning yourself, we will store the information on the ban in our marketing register.
  • Unnecessary and outdated data shall be removed from the customer and marketing register every six (6) months.
  • You can unsubscribe from our email list by using the opt-out link included in the emails.
  • The user's data shall be retained as long as the user is registered with the service
  • For information security reasons, we retain some log data that may contain personal data. This data shall be retained for two years after the data has been stored.

9. RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT

The data subject has the right to:

  • check his or her data in the register;
  • demand the correction of incorrect information;
  • for processing based on consent, the data subject may withdraw their consent;
  • demand the deletion of any or all of the data, unless there is a legal basis for storage;
  • demand that the controller restrict the processing of data in situations referred to in Article 18 of the GDPR;
  • object to the processing of data in situations referred to in Article 21 of the GDPR;
  • lodge a complaint concerning the register or data processing with the authority mentioned in paragraph 10;

The disclosure of data on request always requires that the identity of the person making the request can be reliably verified.
